What time does the road close on Thursday night events?
Road closes pm and event starts at 5pm so please move your vehicle before 4pm.
When does the old close for the coronation West on Sunday 7th May
Road closes at 10am and opens at 7pm – cars to be moved by 10am latest
Can we bring dogs to the castle over event weekend?
Yes, well behaved, on a lead and under control
Can we bring our own food and drink into the castle grounds over the event?
We are encouraging to ‘shop local’ so please use the businesses in the castle grounds. You can take a bottle of wine or fizz and a picnic during the days Free event if you want especially Sunday for the BIG Lunch, but not the evenings.
Is the King going to turn up at the coronation even?
You never know!!
Can we pay by card on the door at caste events?
Yes card payments is fine. Also card payment for the ‘Blow up zone’ for families – £5 gets you a wrist band which is an all day pass to the play area
Do we have to pay for the children’s entertainment?
