A Swansea legend and the Swans and Wales captain take time out to turn on the lights for Christmas here in Mumbles!
3pm – Christmas fare in Ostreme centre – crafts and food galore!
6pm – Event starts – Swansea Gospel Male Voice Choir will entertain outside the Ostreme
6.30pm – World Champions Swansea Silver Rhythmaires marching band will slowly make their way up Newton Rd to meet the RNLI & Santa, stopping along the way to entertain people, reaching the top of Newton Road at approx 6.45pm
6.50pm – RNLI, Santa & Swansea Silver Rhythmaires marching band will be at the top of Newton Rd by Oystermouth School to join forces & parade down to Ostreme Centre.
7pm – Lee Trundle and Ashley Williams will be waiting at the Ostreme Centre alongside the Christmas Tree ready to “switch on” the Christmas lights – This will be counted down by Badger from The Wave.
7.10pm – They will be signing autographs and having photos while Santa heads back to his Grotto located inside Maureen Cottey Florist shop.
7.15pm – Swansea Gospel Male Voice Choir entertain the crowds again.
7.50pm (approx) – Pop up food stalls will be located throughout Newton Road plus
Carousel and fair rides will be located both ends of Newton Road…..all this and christmas muisc will entertain visitors up until late!
9pm – Road reopens
